Meet the Staff

Our team members take great pride in their supporting roles. The staff has been handpicked based on their professionalism, level of compassion, overall intelligence and knowledge of our industry. Beginning employment, they are trained specific to their position and acclimated to our practice culture and professional expectations. They sign confidentiality agreements and understand HIPAA compliance and patient privacy laws. When applicable, they are also licensed for their specific occupation. Each team member goes out of their way to give patients the time and personal attention they deserve. We still answer our phones without rerouting callers into voicemail, return calls promptly, call our surgical patients the night of surgery and greet our patients with a caring smile and personal concern at each visit. Our patients always feel welcome - and they are. So that you are more familiar with our staff, we have included photographs and a brief description of their job functions.

Susan has been in the plastic and cosmetic surgery industry for many years. Her knowledge and expertise will ensure that your surgical experience will be as comfortable as possible. She will be your advocate throughout and work closely with you both before and after surgery.

She is always at your service for questions and concerns. She believes in Dr. Ellen's expertise and has family members and friends as her happy patients. Susan has four grown children and three beautiful granddaughters. She enjoys riding her motorcycle, gardening and spending time with her family.

Bridget is the first smiling face to greet you when arriving at Dr. Ellen's office. Her cheery face and warm smile will make you feel at ease when checking in for your appointment.

She graduated from Oakland University in 2011. With her medical receptionist experience, you are sure to feel valued and comfortable in Bridget's care! She is always pleasant and happy to help you in any way that she can, as her top priority is to assist and serve our patients. Bridget enjoys spending time with friends, music and being outdoors.

Duwana provides all pre- and post-operative surgical patients with additional information about their cosmetic and reconstructive procedures through the process of Inform and Consent.

She is also highly skilled in wound care and surgical dressing. Duwana takes pride in providing care to each surgery patient in part by making a personal phone call after surgery as well as the undivided attention that she offers to each patient in answering any additional questions. In her free time, Duwana loves to spend time with her daughter.
